O Come to me!

This is a tune I composed on the penny whistle while at lunch on July 30, 2010. I am playing my Carey Parks Ghost whistle in this video. I think the tune sounds Irish and haunting. What do you think.

Thanks to Nancy for reminding me.
This is a Ghost Whistle by Carey Parks at Parks Whistles. He describes it this way: "A clear whistle has a sort of "wow" factor. It sparkles when you pull it out, and becomes a ghostly white as you play."

  1. very nice...Oliver (the dog) stood here and turned his head sideways listening...and then clapped...(ok..he didn't clap, but he would have!)

Is that whistle clear? cause it looked like I could see your thumb underneath...

  2. TERRIFIC...as usual! If we still had our dog, I am sure HE would have clapped...what's up with Nancy's dog for NOT clapping???

  3. Great Gene. The sound is very pure. I played it a few times...it really sounds great with your eyes closed....like floating along on a quiet stream.

  4. Is there anything you can't do? I wish Gwen were still around because she would have loved that.

  6. When I was listening I thought it belonged in a medieval scene. (is that spelled right?
