Today I woke to see this
Snow is unusual in Alabama. Today there is a "lot" and there is ice under it.
Those lights show that we still have electricity. That is good because bad weather normally causes some loss of power in this area.
Today is Friday so for the Friday Face Off I will show this work in progress.
You can see dark circles through the eye fabric, that is because I let the
embroidery machine sew the lines for the eyes. Then the fabric was a
bit thin and those lines show through.
The button on the nose is part of the fabric print. I started to use those flowers for
the eyes, reminiscent of the book Coraline. (If I had done that the eye circles would
not be showing.
Happy Friday
Stay Warm!
Until Next Time,
Stay Creative

ReplyDeleteYou have more snow than we do in New Hampshire. Stay warm and safe Gene. I'm loving the face too.
ReplyDeleteLiving in Michigan we get used to snow. But I never get used to ice -- it's the worst. Be careful out there!
ReplyDeleteThe snow is so pretty. We got a bit as well. Still on the ground in spite of the temps getting to 41 degrees yesterday. Love the nose on the face!
ReplyDeleteWe got some snow last week too. I was a little worried that my flight home would be canceled. I was lucky to get home to my own bed so that I could spend my sick week at home. We might have to leave for Tuscon a day early to avoid a storm coming in early next week.
ReplyDeleteWow! I'm surprised you got that much snow. I hope we don't!
ReplyDeleteNot spooky :) My world looks like that too. :)
