It is a Quilt Top - SAHRR

After much time spent thinking and moving blocks I have determined how to integrate the kite blocks into the upper portion of my quilt.

With some “quilter magic,” I was able to arrange the components in a configuration that harmonizes well. At this time, I am deciding whether I want to leave the quilt in its current state or add additional outer borders to enlarge it.  If I add the borders I will have to determine what fabric to use for those borders.  That will require some auditioning and more time thinking about what I want from this quilt

  5. Wow this quilt is stunning! The colors work together perfectly. I haven't been quilting lately but you are inspiring me to pick it up again. I have been busy trying to get the backyard ready for spring, installing a new gate latch and prepping for some gardening so I haven't had much extra time. I will have to get back in the sewing room this week! Thanks for sharing.
