Princess Dress

Yesterday we went to see my great niece -also known as "The Princess."   Since I finished her batik dress, I got to deliver it and have a little photo shoot.
The dress is by Olive Ann Designs.  It is made with the "Peace Out" dress pattern shown in this post.
Here are the pictures of the Princess in her new dress.
The picture doesn't show it well, but the buttons are holographic and really sparkle.  They are buttons I bought on my late January trip to Mexico.  The just happened to match perfectly.

Of course, she had to put on her purple flip flops that the Easter bunny brought to her "because they match my new dress!"  I think she was right, they do match.

  1. She is adorable.....what beautiful hair she has and wearing that wonderful dress (and the terrific, matching flip flops, of course), she looks like a little fashion model. She seems to have the "posing" mastered...that's for sure!

  2. Adorable dress Gene, and although I can't see the buttons, I can picture them being perfect. So is her hair, her smile, and those flip flops! She is very photogenic "great" niece, and I bet if anyone asked her, she would say she has an awesome "great" uncle too!

  13. Wow! Very nice! I need to learn to make clothing etc. At this point all I know how to do is take perfectly good large pieces of fabric, cut them up into tiny pieces and then sew them all back together again, sounds crazy, huh?
