Mom and I have been working on the puzzle intermittently. We have a bit more put together. The really good news is that Mom's puzzle skills are improving. So I think it is activating some parts of her brain that had "gotten lazy." Don't forget that your brain needs exercise too.

You guys are really doing good on that puzzle. You are right about keeping our minds active. I spend a whole lot of time in waiting rooms and a friend of mine sent me a quilting word search and I could tell that my speed was getting better at solving them as I went along. I would rather be quilting but that was really helpful to stimulate my brain.
ReplyDeleteThat is good looking puzzle. I got a puzzle for Christmas that we haven't opened yet but maybe this weekend we will have some spare time to start it. I love doing puzzles
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your progress! That's a really nice puzzle! And I agree - they are great for exercising your brain. I eventually get to the place where I go by "shape" and forget trying to get the right "color" in the right spot - ;))
ReplyDeleteAny exercises to keep the brain from frazzled? How about overloaded? Hmm. Nice puzzle progress. All that cognitive spatial training and such.
