Friday Faces

Here are some Friday Faces for the Friday Face Off.

First one created with Nicole (our hostess) in mind.
Death in Mourning

Next up a "redo" of a face I used last week.
Man on the Run

And last an image that I created with the possibility of making it into a small quilt for a relative.
Chico's Cousin

Happy Friday everyone

New Notebook Cover

Playing around again, I couldn't resist.  I made another notebook cover using the same technique that I used for mine.  Since I am sure no-one will buy it at $75 (which is cheap considering the work that went into it)  I will donate it to a local organization to use as a prize or to auction off.

Here is the front.
The back,
And the fancy inside pocket.

I used scraps from the construction to make the pocket.  It matches in color but not in design.

Have a great week!

For the Friday Face Off,  a few faces created in AI

And just for a laugh, this one is "me" created by the AI on my phone which is different than Night Cafe.

Made for Me

Sometimes you just want to play.  I wanted to play a bit with the piecing technique I used on the last piece I showed.   -Okay, so it still isn't finished, but I just wanted to play!   I used the same technique and a lot of the same fabric.  I decided to make a notebook cover.  The quilt part of this one is far less planed or fussed over, but it still took a lot of time.  So, I decided that I will not make this notebook cover to sell, but I will just keep this one for me.  No one would pay me enough for the time (several hours) I spent on it.

But this one makes me happy so I am happy to keep it for myself.

Here is the full outside as it is opened out flat.

Here is the front,

Then the back

And the inside

It is all hand dyed fabric and  I love it.  And, yes, I did put a label inside even though I knew I would be keeping this one.  One day I will be gone, and this will show the history of the piece.
