I am still here

I know that I have been missing. Sorry. Saturday morning after Thanksgiving, I woke up with a bit of a sore throat.  It has developed into an ugly cold.   I have been remarkably unproductive.
So until I can get back in the swing of things, here is a piece of art for you to have something to see.
A couple of photos from Mexico

and maybe a quilt or two.

I made it in two layouts, with the second in different colors.
So for now, more hot tea and rest...but I will return!

(and Joyce, my apologies for the delay, but I don't want to send you this cold with your prize!)
Comments are welcomed. I will reply when possible unless otherwise stated. Of course if you are a "No Reply Blogger"- I can not reply. Links in posts may be affiliate links for which I am compensated if you click through and purchase.

Beautiful artwork and gorgeous quilts!
No worries about the prize. I can well understand how it feels to have a cold. Just take care of yourself so that it doesn't turn into something worse. The changes we are having in our weather is making everyone sick around here.

I always love seeing things you have created once again. You aren't being "remarkably unproductive", you are healing which is highly productive. Feel better!

Oh boy, how not fun is being struck down by a sore throat that goes "worse" !~!

Love the painting. Koi are some of the prettiest fish and they almost have expressions sometimes it seems.

Your quilts, as always ;-) are beautiful. I love seeing the same quilt with different fabrics; two for the price of one almost somehow.

Anyway, hope you feel better soon; sending warm tea, soft tissues and lots of homemade quilty love.

I sure do enjoy your blog, Gene, and miss it when there is a gap in posts. But first things first - taking care of yourself! Sounds like you are on the mend. Cheers, Ellen

So sorry to hear that you are sick - hope you feel better soon - and are up and running/chasing your "squirrels" - ;))

Gosh Gene, I hope you feel much better soon. You knew you were coming down with something.

I love the artwork, such beautiful colors and who doesn't love Koi! I always wanted a pond but never had the right piece of land for one.

The quilts are perfect, as usual.

Let me know if you need me to come up there and give you a good dose of my grandmother's cure all...castor oil. Hahahaha
