Weaving The Rainbow

A certain candy used the phrase "taste the rainbow" as a slogan.  My preference is to weave the rainbow because there fewer calories are involved!  Ha ha
The rainbow warp was made for a New Years Day weaving event that I attended.  It was great fun as there were about 18-20 people either weaving or spinning yarn.  We shared ideas, techniques, and fun.  Some of us took completed items or completed cloth to share.
There were a number of compliments on my rainbow warp.  And while I didn't get as much weaving done as some people did, I had a great time.
Here are some photos of my cloth that was woven at the event and today.

I love to see how the various color interact as they cross in the weaving of the cloth.  The photos simply do not do it justice.

I hope your year has started off well also.  To make your year even better, remember to do something creative  every day.

That's gorgeous, Gene. I love seeing the way the colors weave together and cross as well. Happy new year. Can't wait to see what you make this year.

I love it, Gene, especially where the colors " invade" each other. I never get a Lot done in a group either, but it is fun!

The cloth really turned out nice, Gene. Do you have plans for it already?

My son is home from Japan so it will be a while before I can really do anything creative. I have some ideas though...I've been working on my list of 2017 goals. :)
