Meg, my spinning wheel, has been shown quite a bit of love though. The bobbin is nicely filled - although I suppose I could put more on it, I probably won't this round.
This will be some fun yarn to use for weaving later. The bamboo is so soft and shiny that it will make cloth with a lovely drape.
To refresh your memory, here is what this bobbin looked like at the end of the year.
Obviously I love spinning multi-colored yarns.
In other news, I auditioned for a play with the local community theatre. I seriously don't remember ever auditioning before. Yes, I have been in a few plays but somehow skipped the audition process. With this one, I started at the proper beginning spot. The play is Arsenic and Old Lace. I read for two different parts. My plan was "a small part where I get stage time without too much stress learning the part."
So the parts are "Mr. Gibbs," a man looking for a room to rent and "Dr. Witherspoon," the head of Happy Dale Sanitarium. I am waiting to hear the official cast list. When I do, I will let you know if I get either part.

I can't remember who, (but I'll bet you do) that a day or tow ago was mentioning auditioning for the same play. So I ask her to post picture of the play, mentioning how I enjoyed see yours. That being said, am I right in assuming it is the same play and you two know each other.
I'm hoping you get the part of your choice. Good luck with that.
Your yarn is very pretty, waiting to see what you do with it. I have put my journal to good use. But not the way I intended. I'm sketching and writing spur of the moment thoughts. I lose too many of those and some are good, others not so much. I'm sure you know how that is.
I though of you a couple of days ago when I was in the sewing shop and saw an antique spinning wheel for sale. You always use such happy colors.
Good luck with the play. I hope you get a part because I know how much you enjoy performing and it is fun for us to read about your experiences.
I love your multicoloured spinning. I rarely ever spin at home but I hope to get a bit of spinning done once a month now until June. The guild is holding a spin-in, for members and guests, once monthly until June. It's about the only spinning I ever get done!
That's really pretty!!
you are so versitle in your creativity.....good luck with the part...
