While this is going rather slowly, I think you will really be amazed how much a little bit of work has changed this one from last week. The eyes are not finished, but I can't finish them until it is quilted. Why? Because I will be adding a bit of paint for the highlight in each eye and I don't want to rub it off as I quilt the piece.
It is likely that I will use some Inktense Pencils or Inktense Block color to add shading on some of the pieces. There are a few places where the fabric wasn't "just right" so I hope I can enhance with those.
And just because, here is one I created in AI
I love a beach sunrise.
Sitting there with a cup of coffee watching the dolphins sounds like heaven to me.
Until Next Time,
Stay Creative

Coming along nicely
I like you quilt guy more and more. What a great piece it will become. And your AI image is beautiful as well - both sunrise and sunset at the ocean are magnificent.
I think there has been some good progress on the quilted piece. I love the beach scene. Oh, how I miss it on a regular basis.
Progress is good! And I love your AI beach scene. Really pretty.
Wow, you are making great progress!
Hi Gene! I'm just mesmerized by how beautifully your quilt is coming along. I can't wait to see how the paint will enhance it even more. Blessings and Happy FFO!
Your Mondrian quilt is really quite remarkable. I am very impressed and I am married to a quilter from a whole family of quilters!
