I used the flower print that I drew on with white gel pen and found a page that looked good next to it.
I am undecided about adding something to the right hand page. I may add a quote, or just leave it as is.
Another 2 page spread in mostly warm colors
There is a bit of cool color on each page to add interest.
Again I may or may not add words to either of these pages.
Another fun spread that started with creating an ink blot with acrylic "ink paints"
Then I added a "Pop Up bridge"

You probably noticed that it isn't all continuous line. I said "Hey there isn't thread to break and tie off,

...Gene, you sure have been busy, keep it up!
This book is looking great. I'v a bridge never tried a pop up bridge before. I really like that. And how you decorated that Gelli print. Also, that cake Nicole shared that you made looks delicious. You are quite the talented baker I think. Have a super rest of your weekend.
That takes a ton of time, Gene. It's fantastic!
Lovely art Gene, and so impressed by your artistic cakes featured by Nicole today. I like inspirational quotes myself.
Gene you are on a roll with these altered books. These are just amazing. I do love the second one with the warm colors but the last one with the white lines is so intriguing. However, the pop up is fabulous. I'm happy you are are having so much fun with these. Thank you for joining SITAR.
I really like the piece with the white gel pen.
I really love that altered book you have put together. And I especially like what you did with the white gel pen. It looks like quilting.
Thanks for stopping by my blog for FFO. Yes, I stopped looking for appropriate words in magazines. Too time consuming. Have a super weekend.
It's been a long time since I've visited your blog (life in general is my excuse). LOVE the pop up bridge idea! I now need to read more of your posts to get "caught up".
