The prompt that Brenda gave us for
Round Five of the Stay at Home Round Robin is to add Quarter Log Cabin blocks to our quilt tops. So I have decided to make eight of them. I have a tentative plan to use two at each corner. I am waiting for the prompt of Round Six to see how they may play together.
Meanwhile here is my pile of Quarter Log Cabin blocks made with my fabrics.
For some reason I decided to use an even 8 inch unfinished block for this quilt.
So these are 8" square and will finish at 7 1/2"
Why? Honestly it was what worked with my center panel....but it has made it a bit more difficult to make the blocks to the right size.
Regardless, I think these will look great with the quilt top as it is so far.
Until Next Time,

Very lovely blocks! They will look great in your quilt top!
Those blocks are going to look great with our SAHRR quilt.
These are just gorgeous. Quilting is such a tallent.
I am sure you will figure it out, a little strip here or there will help if the math is too annoying.
So very exciting!
I think you'll be able to use those blocks beautifully! As to the size, you'll get it worked out, no problem! :-)
I love the beautiful colors you have used, Gene! Fantastic quarter logs. I look forward to seeing your finish! Thanks for linking up!
