Today is Valentine's Day.
I hope you day is filled with love and happiness that extends through the years.
Confirmed, affirmed and verified
Referred, deferred or put aside
Disclosed in full, or in part
The secrets of the human heart
Cannot be analyzed or sampled
No protocol or test procedure run
Can ever under sky or sun
Explain the love in humankind
No forensic evidence you will find
Of what is in the soul or mind
So let us stay outside the box
And not place love
'neath chains and locks
Confirmed affirmed and verified?
No! In faith, love is justified.

Your talent just never ends. I'm very impressed with this painting. Of course partly because it's red but also because it quite striking. The poetry? Like I said your talent never ends. Have a very nice Valentine's day.
Very nice Gene and Happy Heart Day to you
Such a "lovely" post, Gene. Poetry, too? I hope you had a great Valentine's Day.
Thank you so much – all the best to you too.
Today is Shrove Tuesday here, and it snowed all night, so it's off to the skis and, of course, to the sewing machine.
Your embroidered quilt block is beautiful, and even more beautiful is your magnificent picture of the love couple.
Giving love – receiving love.
A hug for you.
Loving your embroidered block, and your poetic words are beautiful. Thank you, Gene.
Forgot to mention your painting — it’s touching!
