Sunday in the art room

More page layouts from the altered books in progress.
Above an AI image I created collaged onto a gessoed page

Above Hieroglyphics I created on a gessoed page

Above, A tangle pattern that I collaged onto a gessoed page.
FYI,  rather than have plain "boring white" gesso,  I add a few drops
of acrylic paint to the gesso to color or tone it.

Until Next Time,
Stay Creative

Great ones. I hope I get creative again soon, Gene...
Was supposed to work from April 1st, they took it to August 1st and I have no proof - stress...

I love seeing these art journal pages Gene. It's always enjoyable to see what others are putting into their journals. And inspiring too. Have a wonderful new week ahead.

Gene, these pages of art are amazing. I like that you have combined AI into your gessoed page. It is fabulous. Thank you for sharing with SITAR and have a nice Sunday.

Love the fact you are reusing the book, must be a real joy flicking through it. White Gesso is the backbone to most of my artistic endeavours what a work horse it is, the visible brush strokes in the last piece reminds me of impasto.. So creative Gene, thanks for sharing.

I hope you weren't expecting us to read your Hieroblyphics. I could guess a few of them, but I am just going to enjoy the artwork knowing that you know what it says :) The Tangle pattern is delightful. I like the choice of colors and the design gets my eyes chasing ... a lot of movement in it. Lovely post, Gene ...
