New Beginnings
This is a photo transfer from a magazine - she is actually pretty.
The transfer is done with a gel printing process. I put this over another
gel print that I had drawn lines on. I think the lines make it creepy.
Here is a happy alien,
This is a copy of a drawing that I colored, cut out and collaged over a
painted background.

At first I said"Creepy?" but then I saw the face. I like it Gene. Even a bit creepy as it is. Have a super Friday and weekend ahead.
There has to be a collapse, before a new beginning. Hence, I don't see the image as being creepy at all. Happy FFO!
There is nothing creepy to me, as you well know. The way you executed this face is brilliant. Her downward look as if to keep the drips out of her eyes. I love this piece. Your happy alien just cracked me up. I could see this creature dancing along the rings of Saturn. Thank you for sharing with FFO and have a fabulous weekend.
I like them both!
Hi, Gene! I find the face more threatening than creepy ~ I think it's because of her intense eyes. I know others are seeing her eyes as closed, but to me they look open. I love the happy alien! Enjoy your weekend!
I have found gel transfers to be the hardest of all. I either don't get enough gel or too much. Or I press too hard when wiping off or away the paper. The face may appear to be a bit creepy, but it is well done. Your alien is actually cute. Happy FFO.
...yes a bit creepy!
Wonderful artwork! Have a lovely July!
Perhaps a little creepy but I like it!
Your happy alien is great!
All the best Jan
In all honesty, faces in art creep me out anyway so I have to give a wholehearted yes to the creep factor in the first one! LOL! I do love the alien though.
She looks a bit creepy indeed. Luckily you leave with that happy alien :-)
I think Creepy would make an excellent book cover for a spooky book. I like it!
Nice creative work!
