First let me confess. I slept thru another changeover into the New Year. I think the last one I stayed up for was "the millenium" changeover. I think sleeping and waking up in a new year shows trust that the world goes on. Okay, so that is my excuse, and I am sticking to it.
There is a Whirl into Winter event going on. It involves a group of contests where YOU, my friend, could win prizes. I learned about it on Pat's blog: http://alittleofthisandalittleofpat.blogspot.com Did you read that name in the address? I love it. "A little of this and a little of Pat" I smile every time I read it. My blog name is okay, it is ME but it doesn't sparkle like some do. C'est la vie!
Anyway, in a few days, or more depending on how prolific I am, I will make my 125th post. You see, I totally missed the 100 mark. I wasn't paying attention. So at post 125, I am planning a giveaway. I don't know what I will be giving away....but maybe you can suggest something!
Ideas that I have are: Fabric, notecards with my art on them, something I make (but what???) or ???? something you suggest. Please post a comment right here and tell me what YOU would like to win.
Happy New Year.
Gene

I love your art pieces so maybe something with that great color in it!
But then the bags you make are nice as is the jewelry.........can't decide!
Oh anything would be fine! I love giveaways! Thanks! :0)
I"m sure anything you want to make would be fine. I DO think it should be something you make, though, since you make such NEAT stuff.....love some of the bracelets and we have now discovered you are even a sculptor!!! Thanks for the nice little comment on my blog name, too!
Happy New Year to you, Gene. I, too, am a bird watcher & have a wonderful array of birds that visit and even share the feeding table. Your pictures are fabulous! I haven't put out the suet yet! What am I waiting for! Gene, I wanted to ask you is you have any squirrel problems & if so, what did you do about it. Just this AM, we heard their claws walking around above us in the attic. We've been trying to get rid of them for several years now. We haven't gotten an exterminator b/c my DH says we don't need to, he can take care of this himself. What's with that? We have traps in the attic right now. The first year we heard them up there, my DH went on the web for help. One man replied to take down all our bird feeders. The feeders are attracting the squirrels. Now, we have just the one left up- I need to see the birds! And we now know they are back upstairs. Anything like that going on with you? Any suggestions?

I have not had any problems with squirrels. Perhaps that was because I had a cat for years and years. I am sure his scent still lingers. He loved to explore the attic any chance he could get up there.
I don't know what you do about squirrels in the attic. I think an exterminator is in order.
