This painting is the first non-objective abstract I painted in a class. The class increased my painting skills immensely.
While this was meant to be non-objective, I do see a "real" picture in it.
The title is "Community"Can you tell that I have always loved vivid color?

You know I always have trouble with interpretation of this type of painting, but I see birds. I like the wash of colors in the painting!
I see birds too! This is really cool Gene! Nice job!
Before I even saw the last comment, I was going to say birds...love it Gene....I love all the work you do....I am your biggest fan!!! "Go Gene!!"
Beautiful painting. Looks like quail in a meadow.... love it!!!
LOL I find I'm in the same boat with the others...I guess it *could* be a community of birds? I'm not too good at abstracty stuff (I know that's not a word, really).
By the way, gave you a shout out today on my blog - thanks for your videos and helps to the quilting community!
One time I looked and saw birds....the next time I saw fish feeding at the bottom of a brightly colored tank. Beautiful!!
It looks like the birds cleaning up under the bird feeders. Yes, you do love color!
Pretty!!!
Love your colors....your talents are many.
Ah, yes, a community of Sandpipers trotting along the shoreline. Love it!
Wonderful painting. love it. That's what's so great about art like this.....we all see it differently.
Yep, I see birds, also. Guess we are all seeing with the same part of our brains. Love the colors!
I do too. Gene - you are really talented.
Isn't that neat how we all see birds? I thought it was just me because I am bird crazy!
