The good news is that I did manage to finish quilting all three sections of my "Hearts" quilt.
The picture doesn't show the entire quilt. There are two heart blocks in each row across. At this point, I need to cut the joining strips and sew it all together. Then I can label it, bind it, get a good photo of it, and send it on its way.
Here are some photos showing some of the quilting from the back.
An extra heart went on the back. :) |
An elongated heart hidden in the quilting. |
A little "wild quilting" -this is on one of the hearts. |
I love the jewel toned batiks. |
I am not sure when I will post again, but hopefully I will have the Hearts quilt finished soon and have a photo of it to show you.
Have a great week!

LOL, don't pay the ransom. Well, methinks you are MIA willingly so I will heed your words. The quilt looks wonderful from your pictures.
Congrats on your win, Gene and especially that the giftie is right up your alley. Will be fun for you to find a spot for it.
The batiks are wonderful. I'm sure you will have a good time with them.
silly me. It took a minute on the Ranson...great sense of humor. Lucky you won some really great fabric!! Your quilting hearts on the heart quilt is so COOL!!
I really love this hearts quilt. I look forward to seeing a photo of the whole thing, once it's complete.
Love it!! Congratulations on the win!!
As always(!) amazing quilting! Who needs a long-arm? Well, almost everyone except you, Gene. I still tie my quilts, lol. It's beautiful!!!
Congrats on the give away win. You must have borrowed the heat that is usually in Texas.....LOL.....it's a balmy 85 degrees here in August no doubt. This is the most pleasant weather we've had in August in twenty years at least. I'm enjoying while it lasts. Take care and keep cool.
