Angels Notebook Cover

Today was a perfect day to finish a project.  A very nice lady requested a special notebook cover to use for a specific purpose.  I think this one fits her purpose well. I am sending her photos for final approval.  I hope she loves this as much as I loved making it.
I have already shown the angel embroidered block so here is the completed front.

And the back

And also the inside cover showing the pocket for storing a pen and maybe a pad of post-it notes.

This cover includes hand dyed fabrics, a batik and some commercial cottons along with cotton batting and machine embroidery.  The notebook is a standard sized "Marble Composition Book" that is available readily in most U.S.  markets.

Lovely!! The embroidered angels - the fabric combination that you used - AND the quilting make it a truly special "one of a kind". I'm sure the very nice lady will love it! I certainly enjoy using (and petting) the ones I have - ;))

The design of the 2 angels is so beautiful. It kind of reminds me of those perception tests as to which one do you see first. Looking good!

You all are correct, I love it and it will be used and enjoyed. Gene, I will get back to you tomorrow. I was checking my email for our lost dog. And putting up a notice on face book. I just wanted you to know how lovely and well done I think it is immediately.
