I have been playing with ideas for my altered book -errr...books since I have started a second one.
After doodling on one page, I remembered that once upon a time I made lots of ATCs (artist trading cards.) They had to be somewhere since I made many more than I traded. Looking around, there they were in an old wooden cigar box. I missed the last FFO (Friday Face Off.) So here is one that I found in my stack of cards. Do you see a face?
I really like this layout. I am sure that more of my ATCs will show up in future layouts.
Linking to SITAR - Sunday in the Art Room.
FYI, If I am missing your posts, I apologize - The feed for blog reader is acting up.
They are not showing in my reading list. I know that others are having the same issue.
Until Next Time,
Stay Creative

...and my feed for blog reader is acting up too, it's a mess!!! Gene I like the first one best.
Of course I see the face! I like your art a lot - have a great Sunday (atm I just feel no creativity, so I joined the way I did - with other people´s art).
I don´t use feed... Guess glad I don´t then!
Your book looks like it's coming a long great. I've recently found my old ATC's too and have been adding them to journal pages. It's fun to use them again, isn't it? Have a super rest of your weekend and week ahead.
Lovely pieces, you are so talented!
Gene, I'm so impressed with how you are cleverly coming up with ideas to incorporate older art for you new art. Very wise choices. The first one is so me. I love abstract and the face fits it perfectly. However, the second piece is brilliant. A little Escher surrounding the flowers. I love it! Thank you for joining SITAR and have a nice day today.
Both pieces are amazing. I love abstract art, especially when using collage papers. The ATCs work beautifully with the painted page. Have a great Sunday!
Yes, I can see the face. I love how you include old art in new art. You are such an inspiration - I will look for my old ATCs, maybe I can re-use them somehow.
I see two faces in your first ATC, one of which is sleeping :) Your page with the two ATC attached is awesome. The subtle colors of the background allow the cards to take control of the page ... and I don't see andy Leadership Manual training words on the page ... hmmm :) Well done as always, Gene
