First is two monsters running.
I love the cape flying along behind the frog. And those lips on the purple monster are so much fun.
The second photo I am sharing is that purple monster from a front view.
I think I would have been frightened of this one as a child also.
The story explains how the child realizes that the monsters are just
ordinary things that we see differently in dark rooms.

I love the green frog;}
We all have our special monsters!
I love the Purple Monster! I would give it a big kiss!
He has a great imagination. I think the cover of the book would make a great quilt! Happy SITAR and welcome back to blogland.
That art is cool and the monster in the door looks like he's waving. The older I get the more I appreciate everything it takes to write a children's book. Happy rest of your weekend Gene.
The book sounds wonderful Gene!
I'm so happy to see you back. I hope everything is OK over there for you and your family. Kevin is brilliant! He is quite an illustrator. The story is a great way to help kids who are scared at night. I was sure there was a monster, (a real one) in my closet. To this day I have to have my bedroom closet door closed. LOL I'm thrilled that you shared Kevin's art and his book with SITAR.
Welcome back. those monster sure looks loveable.
Glad you are getting back into a routine! This looks like a great kids book.
Great to see you posting again, Gene. Your niece's husband is very talented.
The book sounds a good one and I like the illustrations.
All the best Jan
