Hi guys and gals. As you know i am nearing post 200. I am planning a giveaway at that point. Here is the deal. I want to give to someone who reads my blog. I don't want someone to swoop in, register and never come back.
So, if you read my blog regularly. Leave a comment to this post. If you have left a comment in the past, I will most likely remember you. But leave one here at this post anyway.
If you read me, but don't normally comment, please speak up. According to my stats, there are more readers than commenters. I want to know who you are. Anyone how has never commented before the 200th post is ineligible.

Hi Gene, I'm a new reader of your blog. I'm not even sure how I found you but I have you on my blog feed now so I get all your posts. I'm fascinated by work done by a male quilter since there are so few. Love all the wonky blocks you've been working on. And, you are from the south and that is read worthy in my book. My family is all in Mississippi, pretty much, so I love the south! Eat some fresh veggies for me, will ya'... peas, butter beans, fried okra, squash, tomatoes, maybe some corn or better yet, turnip greens and cornbread with some pepper sauce dashed on. Now I'm getting hungry....Anyway, I'm a reader and I'm commenting. :)
I like that ..... I know that I have more readers than commentors....and some of those that are followers are really not followers, just want the giveaway...so I think what you are doing is great....I might steal the idea....would you mind? Have a great day.

I know I have left you a comment before!! I have that problem also - I know (or hope) there are readers out there - but don't know who because of no comments. I try to leave a comment trail if I can!! Wordpress has 'blog stats"- so at least I know I am being read, and by how many, even if I don't know who they are!

I agree it's a great idea. It feels a bit dirty to have someone just show up for a gift and disappear. I love your wonky, crumb quilt. It turned out so nicely and I've been so busy cleaning etc. I haven't stopped by to see it until tonight. Awesome!
