I used a photo of my Mom as a starting point for this first piece. It looks enough like her that she said "Is that me?"
The left eye is a bit off but I didn't try to fix it since I had other things on that layer. (oops, lesson learned, well sort of.)
I reworked it digitally and added color. I really like the result.
I am linking up with Nicole for the Friday Face Off (which at the time of this writing isn't posted yet.)
Until Next Time,
Stay Creative

Ohhhh these are just excellent. Your mom is so pretty. You did a great job. Thank you for joining FFO and have a great weekend.
Both pieces look great.
Oh, do I miss Photoshop. I have a program from... hold on to something... 1994, PhotoStudio.
It´s free and has not even layers. But for what I do these days it´s enough. And did I mention it´s for free...
To creativity, layers or not - have a happy Friday!
Beautiful creations!
I like the second one better!
Have a nice day!
I think I will start playing with that AI stuff soon.
These are great Tom. I can tell you had fun. I really like the one of your Mom. She looks lovely. Happy summer to you.
...keep learning new lessons, my friend. Stay well and cool.
Awesome digital art!
Both faces are fantastic, especially the one of your Mom! Have a great weekend, hugs!
When I first glanced at the top face, I thought that looks like Gene with a wig. Yep, you can tell that is your Mom. Great work on both faces!
Both are sweet pictures
Lovely digital art faces creation ~ hugs,

I'm very late for Friday Face Off, but that's how I found your post.
I'm particularly struck by that purple hat :)
