What did I do???

I suppose you are wondering what I did with the HSTs (half square triangles) that I made for the tutorial. Did you think I just threw them away? (not me- never waste the supplies!) Did you think maybe I just stashed them for later use?

Not this time! But sometimes I do make blocks just because I want to try it.

Nope I had a plan and I followed it thru. Sorta, kinda. Well I did make the item I planned on anyway.

I was making this tablerunner to add to my Etsy store, or to sell at our November sale in Guntersville. I think this came out great. I just have one question: If you are making it reversible - where do you put the label???

Here are the pictures.

Romantic with wine

Or with a cat. Cause hey, the cat made me buy it.

Um, er, if you think the label would detract, how about NO label?? . . . otherwise, you'll probably have to sew it to one side or another (or along an edge, like a pennant)

Thats a nice table runner... the wine is a nice touch.. "The cat made me buy it." HA! I'm going to try that excuse on my next major purchase

very nice Gene. When I can't add the label, I just sign a corner with my signature.

Fiestas had a good idea signing it - in stitchery or pen. Or you could have a tiny label coming out of the seam, and it could be folded under. Altho, come to think of it,the buyer would probably cut it off. Sign it!!! :>)

It's beautiful!!!

I agree with Fiesta -- a small signature and date with a permanent archival pen in a spot that won't be distracting should do it. Love it, and that it's reversible makes it even better!

NICE runner and I like the idea of using something like a pigma pen since the runner is reversible and you can't really do a label. Good idea to make it reversible, by the way.

I think signing it is the best answer -- name and date!

I'm not sure where I'd put the label either! But I do like the wine selection on it, as well as the candle lit kitty! Lovely tablerunner!
