Go Dies

Today I saw someone mention the Accuquilt GO! 12" finished block die set.  I looked it up to see which ones I owned already. I have a total of 15 dies for my GO! cutter, but I  only have 3 of the 8 dies in that set.  Still I have a healthy collection of dies.  I thought I would put my "cataloging" of them right here so I can see it when I check the "Deal of the Day" on Accuquilt.com   I know that I can always edit the post to keep it up to date. I wish my fabric was this well organized!

Other Dies:

v    2 ½” Strip Die
v    4 ½” Strip Die
¨    GO! Triangle-Isosceles-5"x6"

I also pondered dies that I might like for them to develop.  I would love a smaller chisel die, but honestly I can't figure out what dimensions I would want it to be.

I have printed you list for future reference... Never know when I may require your services again. I'm listing mine here for you or anyone who needs something cut. I need 3 more dies to complete the 12" block set BUT with my 3 1/2" strip cutter I can cut the 3 1/2" square and the rectangle pretty easy.

I have:

6 1/2 inch tumbler
Winding Ways
Double Wedding Ring
Value Die
6 1/2 inch triangle
6 1/2 inch square
Diamond #1
Lullaby
4 3/4" square
Chisels
3 3/4 x 3 1/2 Parallelogram
3 1/2" triangle
5" square
Round Flower
Funky Flower
2 1/2 strip
3 1/2 strip

I have really been torturing myself trying to decide if I should invest in a GO! Cutter. I just can't decide if it is worth the investment, and I also feel like since I am a new quilter that I haven't "earned" one yet. KWIM? Can I assume that you love yours and use it all the time? Is there anything you don't like about it? I would probably get the Go Baby if I got one at all. I just wish they weren't so darn pricey.

Gene, I think you might be needing a 12 step group soon :)

I best update my list after just purchasing the Sarah Vedeler Sparkle dies from Kelly.

My biggest wish for a new GO die would be a rick rack die for the GO. They already have one for the Studio.

You have quite a collection of dies. Last month I won 4 cutting mats but I still don't have a cutter - lol!

Moore's Sewing had a good collection of dies at 50% off at the Road to Cal. Quilt show. I also found a quilt store selling dies at 70% off, as both were getting out of selling their dies.

either way, I do view they are a great value. I just wish I had bought some "sets" early on vs buying dies and creating a set. I too am working on the collection for the various 12" blocks. Much easier way to cut fabrics for blocks.

I'll have to post my list of dies when I get home...for the same reason Greg mentioned.
