Happy Friday - And a Sale Alert

Happy Friday to you all.    Did you know that Craftsy is having a spring sale! You can take a class at a bargain price. Here is my affiliate link to get you there  Craftsy Spring Sale

There are classes on Quilting, Sewing, Making Jewelry, Baking, Cake Decorating, Knitting and even more. Find a class that YOU want to take.
The sale starts today, April 5 and goes through April 8th.

I love the classes I take on Craftsy.   I haven't made a project in the class yet, but I am taking Laura Wasilowski's Class on Hand Stitched Collage Quilts.  I will let you in on a little secret - If you sign up for this class, you can download an ebook copy of Laura's book Fanciful Stitches, Colorful Quilts.  The class is on sale for 29.99 and the ebook is a $14.99 value.  So you get the class for less than half price in essence.   Pretty cool huh?

I have made one collage quilt that I made with a pattern from Laura Wasilowski.  You may remember my piece "Something to Crow About"
I am looking forward to making more fusible applique quilts like this.  I didn't do all the hand stitching on this one, that is something that I hope to improve on in this class.

And if you take one of the classes from Craftsy  you will find you have something to crow about too.

Gene, Gene, Gene....so cute. I have that book tucked away somewhere. I need to get off this computer and sew, sew, sew. Have a great day!

I took that class from Laura and it was fun. I bought the book too. And another of her books and maybe a couple of patterns as well.
I am going to spend some time looking at the classes while there is a sale. Thanks for the reminder.
