What?

My thermometer reads 18F this morning.  My local weather says it is 16F.

Wait a minute!!! This is Alabama. Therefore this is too ____ Cold.  (fill in the blank with your expletive of choice)

It is good weather to have one of these on the bed (or maybe three!)

For those of you with cold weather today - Stay warm.
I want to go to the tropics for a bit.  I know Barb  is thinking "What have we done?!?! since they moved back from American Samoa right into a deep freeze of winter.

Every time we visit my inlaws for Christmas in Texas it ends up being colder there than here! That always makes me very very angry. The last two years we've stayed home because of the little guy...and it's cold but at least no blizzard like a lot of places! And it's supposed to be 55 degrees on Thursday. Heat Wave!!

Love your quilts, Gene...perfect for snuggling! And yes, it's been pretty darn cold here in Louisiana during our visit. The weather is supposed to warm back up into the 70's later in the week.... but we leave to go back to Ohio tomorrow so we're headed back into the freezer! :o(

XOXO,

Cyndi

I put a really STRONG expletive in the blank space, Gene.....'cuz I'm hating cold and snow and also don't want it to be cold down there when we visit next month! UGH.....and DOUBLE UGH!!! (Speaking of which, I need to get a firm date so we can try to work out the details between you and Pat Wys so we CAN meet, okay?)

Poor Barb - you are so right! What is up with this weather? I mean it is always cold in December here, but it isn't much better anywhere else! But your quilts would be warm and that first one is so sun shiny!

At least around here if you don't like the weather it will change in a few days. We are expecting 60's by Friday! You never know how to dress - layers? Stay warm.
