Another thought that came from an email subscriber (I think) was to not completely contain the wildness. So I am planning to put a few pieced sections in the borders to extend the design outward just a bit. It is possible that I will make the borders all different sizes just to add a bit more whimsy to the design.
This is why comments are so great. You people inspire me to go on a creative journey. And for that I am truly grateful.
Of course, I wanted to tell you about a great giveaway at Craftsy. They are running a giveaway that runs from June 1 to June 30. You can win a mystery box filled with Craftsy's newest classes, freshest kits and hottest products. Plus you win a second box for a friend! Click here to go to the entry form!
If you don't have a Craftsy account yet, you will need to register with them. The plus side to that is that you can then take some of the free classes.
A free class that I really enjoyed was not related to quilting at all. But I do love to cook at times and the class on Knife Skills was a great learning experience for me. (and for a certain Left-Handed friend.)

By the same token, you inspire us Gene! I never went for wonky, willy nilly, colorful anything until enjoying your projects. Actually, had never even heard the word wonky. I love the name of this quilt!
