I got smiles and hugs that night. Last night I saw one of them again and got another hug. (The other was in the hospital - waiting for delivery.) I know that both of these babies will get lots of love. That makes me happy! Ha ha, I am claiming "uncle" status.

I am sure those quilts will be treasured always. Congrats to the new mom and the almost-new-mom....and great job, Gene!
Unkie Gene! :-)
Those are cute. I like bright, happy baby quilts!
I'd like to have a Gene hug. :(
Very nice! The moms are always so appreciative!
I like your quilts! They are bright and colorful.
I am currently cutting out pieces to make Kylies Kites, an Eleanor Burns pattern I bought at the Quilt show last year. I could have used a 5" charm pack but I decided to use scraps instead. Our quilting group always has left-over scraps that need to be used in someway. Since I am using scraps I may have to struggle to make the colors balance -- I am not really a random person and I do like things to match but...I also want to use up these scraps.
Happy New Year!
Great quilts, and a lovely gesture. :)
Who wouldn't be excited to get those quilts. I bet they will be favorites for a long time to come.
They look so adorable and nice and bright! Love both the patterns and colors. Makes me wish I was having a baby!!! :)
