Friday Face Off - and a Finish

The latest edition of the Friday Face Off is here.   Friday Face Off is a challenge for  Barbara,  DVArtist  and yours truly.  We don't have a prompt, we just make a clay face each week. They are using paper clay while I am using polymer clay because I have it and it needs to be used.
Today my face does not have a story with it.  Instead I started making a face and let the clay lead me.  I had other plans for it, but here is where it decided to go.
A friend told me that "It looks a little evil to me."
But I think it is just different.  I am curious to hear what YOU think.

Next up is the finished notebook that I made from the painted fabric.
Front

Back (I kinda wish it was the front)

Inside front cover with pocket and label.

I have extra pieces of the painted fabric, so I may make some variations on this one.
But for now I am taking the weekend off to relax.

As for the weather, it passed by us.  It didn't get nearly as bad as expected here. For that I am truly thankful.

Until Next Time,
Stay Creative

I agree with your friend! Another Face I’d not want to meet in a dark alle! This face could inspire a whole costume in a horror movie. The left eye especially has something in its sights, beware in Alabama! I can’t decide if it has hair or tentacles. I’m choosing tentacles that move on their own. VERY EVIL!
The notebook cover turned out great!

I love this face. The creature element is what makes it so fabulous. Thanks for joining in.

Your latest "face" doesn't look that "evil" to me. The "hair" made me think of Medusa - but then it looks like it has a "beard" - so I'm not sure what it is - LOL.

LOVE your notebook cover- especially the painted fabric - ;))

Hi Gene Nicole directed me over here, how sweetly your face off Friday has been crafted. I love his wisps of hair like little rays of sunshine. Your Notebook cover is fantastic, the painted fabric is so well colour matched with the grey. All so inspiring.
Wishing you a restful weekend Tracey x

Once again, I came from Nicole and Barbara's blogs. I often start with one idea for a project and end up with a very different completed piece. It sometimes seems the project takes over and we just have to follow along. I really like this because I also have no airdry claym, but lots of polyclay,

That painted fabric is INCREDIBLE. I love it.
