Stash THIS!

This is going to be a rather short post, but several people wanted to see my purchases from the ATL mini-hop with Pat  and Pat
So except for one piece that I am not showing (the one for the convergence quilt) here they are!
click to make biggerer!
Three batiks, one French Floral by FabriQuilt and two Laurel Burch (the snakes on green and geckos on purple)
I swear my stash smiled when these guys came to the neighborhood.

I delayed this from posting and I managed to do a bit of sewing, so now you get to see the next border for the convergence quilt.  This is the other fabric I bought on the outer borders.
Full quilt
And the top draped over a recliner.

Didn't The 3 Wild Quilters pick a great POP fabric?  I have to tell you that the colors are much better in person.

You know, this didn't turn out to be a short post after all!

Great convergence quilt Gene- just love the happy colors and the Turquoise really sets off the rest of the quilt.

I love your Laurel burch fabrics - I loved her designs - such a talented lady and she was taken from this world much too soon. I especially like the geckos- they make me think of Mexico. We went there went our son was young and he was fascinated by the geckos. He would cry when the men cleaned them off the wall and most of the time they would stop cleaning them off until we had passed by. The Mexican people were so kind to little children.
Happy quilting,
Regards,
Anna

The batik influence came from Pat???? I did not know Laurel Burch designed fabric. I think I have a piece of her jewelry, if I am not mistaken.
Love your choices.

Love the way you are displaying your new fabrics for that photo.......clever way of folding them! I love that turquoise and you are right....the colors don't show TRUE online. I have seen that convergence piece in person (as well as the turquoise fabric) and it is all SUPER!!!

WOW, those colours are amazing!!! I haven't seen a quilt quilted with all the brights and Batiks together and now I can see why they are so popular! The cheery fabrics and the richness of the colours just makes me feel relaxed like I'm on a holiday somewhere!!! Well done!

Wow! I haven't really used such bright colors before, so it is fun to see them in a quilt. Very nice!
