More Stringing

I made a few blocks and laid them out in the layout that makes the large rectangles on point.

Can you see the rectangles?

Yes I can but the continuity of fabric in the EQ version made a bigger difference than I expected.

It is seen in a couple of spots. Other areas are more muddy. On your EQ version there was a consistent color for the center strip that makes the rectangle more obvious. Works for me, either way:)

I like it just how it is with subtle rectangles that will become more obvious as you add more blocks. I think it would be a little too predictable with matchy colors in every block (like your EQ drawing).

Yes - but - they are very subtle in your version. The EQ version had yellow to one side of center and my eye followed that to see the rectangles. The green in the center and the "light" line of color on the other side also helped define the rectangles. That being said - I LOVE your scrappy version - subtle - and HAPPY colors - ;))

Very cool, Gene! I agree with Wanda, not as boring in reality as in EQ, and it’s so like you to mix things up!!
