After working playing working with the design for a while it looked good, so I took it to the machine to sew it. After sewing it, I sewed it into the outside cover for a notebook.
Next up, I added batting and quilted the cover.
Then I added all the other parts
(even my label)
and sewed it all together.
Front
Front and back
Inside - with a pocket and my label.
These notebooks always turn out so well.
That is why I love making them.
Now I need to work on some other projects that are waiting for me.
Until Next Time,
Stay Creative

That is very nice, Gene. I think you have found your niche with those books and that embroidery. For a while anyways, until you find something else to entertain you! It's always fun trying new things.
Wow, that came together fast! I absolutely love it! The colors are wonderful together!
This turned out so nicely Gene! Always enjoy how you quilt your pieces. I also like how you add your label to the inside cover too. This is the second post in 24 hours I've read about journal/book covers (Sharon Holland's was the other with her upcoming line, Bookish - love it!) I'm feeling the squirrel poking me...
Another winner!! Your combination of an original, digitized horse - border motif - and quilting made a wonderful notebook cover!! You are on another roll - and it's fun watching you design and quilt these up - keep going!! - ;))
Very nice!
Beautiful book cover!
Love that you are digitizing and figuring it all out! I need to get back to doing that!
Happy Quilting and Embroidery!
