The Wonky Nine Patch Passion quilt is still in progress. The blocks are made and I have done several layouts trying to find one that "sings" to me. After a lot of moving blocks around I came upon this layout.
When it is sewn all the seams will (hopefully) line up for a more cohesive design. The layout that I was wanting to do just didn't read well with these fabric choices.
That one looked like this:
I didn't have all the blocks made when I took the photo of that one.
What surprises me is how many different layouts I can do with this block.
Actually it is one block and its mirror image.
After talking with a friend on Zoom, and looking at the layout.
We decided on a variation on the first layout.
I think it adds some consistency to the placement of the fabrics.
So that is the one I am sewing together.
Until Next Time,
Stay Creative

Nope - no preference - I like them both! Wonky is wonderful - ;))
This is a tough one! I’m cross-eyed! I like your choice best.
Looking good!
If it's wonky - do the seams have to line up?
I like the layout you choose and think you will be happy with it.
Haha - no fair - you only had two photos posted when I left my first comment - now you have three. I like the third one best - but the first one looks like the "weave" of the fabrics is wonky - so I like that one, too - ;))
Those look like fun blocks to make. I like the last layout best.
Holy cow, that's cool! Are all the quilts made from one basic block or are there others?
