Still Under the Needle
Whew! Quilting this entire quilt is a lot of work. I am probably quilting it too densely but I can't stop now.
I am well over half done.
However, I am sure I have over a third of it to go. Oh... and I am saving the borders to do something "special" Ha...now I am thinking easy straight lines. Only time will tell.

Your quilt is beautiful, but I have a question. Why are you using such dark thread for the quilting? Just wondering.
I've been in the same boat before - start out very densely and start to regret it half way through. But as you know, you have to keep going at the level. It will be worth it in the end. Think of it this way, you get more practice per quilt by quilting densely.
Just think of how lovely it will be when it is finished Gene. What you have done looks wonderful..love the colored thread.

Pretty much all I've been working on is playing with my friend! It's been a great week. You quilt is looking awesome!
