I have also been re-reading some old books that I remember enjoying. Some of those are mysteries. Fortunately, it has been so many years, with so many books between, that I don't remember the plots or "whodunit" much at all.
However, I did some quilt prep today. The two side panels for the Party Time quilt are layered and basted so that I can start quilting on them in spare minutes or while watching somewhat mindless comedy shows.
These are long and narrow so I have them rolled up on the sewing machine table.
The top one is unrolled far enough that you can see part of the piecework. I think these will quilt up quickly. Then I will join them to the quilt and finally put on a binding.
Until Next Time,
Stay Creative

Oh - your panel looks so good! I'm the same way with mysteries - give me enough time between readings and I don't remember "whodunit" either - LOL - ;))
Gene I have been reading a lot too. I also review books before publication. As I was down with Covid, there really wasn't anything I felt like doing. So it was reading, reading, reading.
Reading is a good pastime but it doesn't put any steps on my Fitbit. I like the fabrics you are showcasing very much! Sewing doesn’t put steps on my Fitbit either, so I can’t figure out why it makes me so tired. Maybe reading is better after all!
More beautiful colors in there, Gene. I love reading! I read 7 books last month but I'm only on my second one this month...I don't have time to do everything I want and have to work, too! It's exciting that you're in group the reviews books before they are published.
