The Show

The sale went well. There weren't as many shoppers this year as last year. Most of the purchases I had were small ones. But I did make more profit this year. Not a lot more, but it was an improvement.

I didn't take many pictures because I just forgot I had the camera. But here are those I did take.

My friend had an rack that his mother used to use for hanging ironing. So I put it at the end of the table to hang a quilt on. That made the table a bit less crowded.

Right next to me was my friend Dave's table. He is a terrific photographer.

And way too close to me was the Bake Sale table. I had to buy some fudge. Bad me! Good Fudge!

Glad you made a profit! Are you listing the remainder on Etsy? (not that I can afford the postage, but someone over there might buy up)

I'm glad to hear you did a bit better than last year....better than doing worse, right? I'd have bought the fudge or some goodies, too. After all, you needed something to keep your energy up....didn't you?

Oh, I'd have definitely bought fudge, too. Especially when you show a PROFIT! Good for you!

Congrats! I like the rack. I think it really makes a difference to a display to add height to it like that. When everything is just laying flat on the table, it looks less interesting. Plus, by hanging that colorful quilt, shoppers can get a glimpse of something interesting from across the room. As for the fudge, that was a no-brainer!

I'm glad that it was a profitable day for you. I went to a show yesterday and it was absolutely dead. I can't imagine how they did.

Gene congratulations. You know you made a small profit right now but I am sure that word will spread of your great creations and you never know, you may get more orders.

Bake sale table........I would have driven for that. Was it THAT good??

A small profit is better than none. Some of our local artists run a circut with craft booths. We've got four/five local celebrations and they go to each. I understand it for them but it makes the festivals a little dull because if you attend one ....well you've seen it all for that year.

circuit....sorry bout the typo ;)

Everything looked so nice! You and Dave had such wonderful tables..Gee, I would have loved that! We occasionally have tables set up like that at the Ozanam Centre, and we have a large Gallery of local crafts, so I do love it all!
Great job!

Glad you did well. Shows this time of year are so fun with folks shopping for the Holidays and Christmas. No one can resist fudge so don't worry, it's a natural craving as far as I'm concerned.

I think everyone worldwide has noticed a downturn in sales.. you are not alone mate.
I wouldn't have been able to resist the fudge either.

Craft shows are sometimes a tough sell. Some people simply want things for almost nothing. You had a very nice display, eye catching. BTW Happy Thanksgiving
