Playing with Ideas

I have been playing around with some idea for quilts using only two shapes that can be cut with the Accuquilt Go cutter (but you CAN cut them by hand if you don't have the cutter.)  The two shapes are the triangle (6.5 inch) and the Chisel which is 3.5 by 6.5 inches.)
So without further ado here are the images exported from my old version of EQ. (if only someone would take pity and send me EQ version 6 or 7.)
First is "Chiseled in Fabric"

Next is "Whirling Chisels"

I am thinking Accuquilt should hire me to make patterns for them. What do you think?

They are great!! You know you can submit patterns to them. Make sure though that they publish them as yours.

Very cool like your designs.

I think they should...but you have to write the directions too...

I'm sure you could also write the directions quite easily. These are wonderful patterns, Gene!

Accuquilt is missing the boat if they don't!

Incredible how many design ideas can come from the same elements. Great that you are having so much fun and relaxation with this!

Love your designs, and yes you should sell your patterns. Isn't the GO the most wonderful thing! It sure makes my life easier.

I like the second design. It resembles pinwheels and those are my favorite.

Accuquilt should trade you dies for patterns :) Writing the directions is the hardest part for me.

Hi there Gene....yep, Accuquilt do need to invite you to do patterns for them....the ones above are great....and the fact that they can be cut by hand for those of us who aren't fortunate enough to have a GO in our list of tools/supplies! Hugs Naomi

My favorite is chiseled fabrics. Like those EQ layouts you have made.
